In order to capture the spirit of Team 114 and our gratitude towards FIRST, we created this website to inform the public. We hope it can fulfill our goal in communicating our vision of Science and Technology, FIRST Robotics, and what we as a team are all about.

In fact, we use this website for more than publicity. By posting daily updates, we are forced to reflect on our progress each day. This website has kept us on schedule and actually helped other teams learn new methods and collaborate. We have received comments on our posts and YouTube videos asking questions, suggestions, and general comments. We have happily responded to teams around the country.

We have done a lot of custom coding on this website to meet our vision and reflect our team spirit. Blue is incorporated everywhere. Headers, background, hyperlinks, etc. Our main logo (top left) is white, which shows off another side of our team. We even have a mobile version of this website! Visit this site on a phone or mobile device and you will see a simplified theme that focuses on content and connecting.

We utilize the power of a Content Management System (CMS), specifically, WordPress. We find it very powerful and extremely flexible. It is a quickly growing system that will be (and is) prevalent everywhere on the web.

We also use Google Analytics to track our website statistics. We highly recommend it for any website.
